This show is a qualifier for the Dressage Masters Championships to be held at Hickstead, West Sussex on the 26th and 27th July 2010
The horse and rider combinations that have gained most points at Novice level and above will qualify for the Dressage Masters. Four horse and rider combinations will qualify at each level. Points will be awarded for each class so it imperative that all four tests are ridden at your chosen level. Points structure – 10 points for 1st down to 1 point for 10th.
Dressage Ireland members who qualify for the Dressage Masters Championships will have to purchase a British Dressage 'Day Ticket' if they wish to compete at the Finals.
Dressage Ireland would like to thank Dane Rawlins and his team for giving our riders the chance to qualify and compete in this prestigious event.
The championship winner at each level will be the horse/ rider combination achieving the highest cumulative percent at that level. All four tests must be ridden at the chosen level.
Classes 11 and 23 will be classed as a Small Tour Championship and Classes 12 and 24 will be classed as a Big Tour Championship.
To win a championship the horse/rider combination MUST compete in all classes at one level.

Cavan has a large lorry park. There are a limited number of electric points.
There are excellent catering and bar facilities at Cavan which will be open throughout the Festival.

Entry Fee £20/£25 per class / Cheques made out to CDF.
All entries must be made on offical entry forms.

Cancellations must be made prior to close of entries.

We are again supporting the fun and challenge of team championships.
To enter a team full details including the team name are to be sent to the secretary before the close of entries accompained by a cheque for £20 made out to CDF.
Riders may choose ONE test from classes 2, 4, 6, 8 & 10 and ONE test from classes 14, 16, 18, 20 & 22 as their team test.
Irish riders wishing to be placed on a team MUST enter the relevant classes each day.
Teams should consist of either 3 or 4 members, top 3 scores to count.
It is permissable for all team members to ride at the same level.
Teams must comprise one pony, one junior and one young rider with the fourth member being from any one of the three categories;
Pony Riders, ( from the year of their 12th birthday to the year of their 16th birthday on ponies )
Junior Riders, ( from the year of their 14th birthday to the year of their 18th birthday ) Juniors may ride ponies up to the year of their 16th birthday
Young Riders, ( from the year of their 16th birthday to the year of their 25th birthday on horses )
