Dressage Ireland

At the board meeting held on 18 January 2010 the following changes in the criteria for training with Conrad Schumacher for 2010 have been agreed:

• Riders who wish to avail of the training must apply by end of January 2010, giving a review of their results for the past year and their plans for 2010.


• Their plans will be presented to the management committee for recommendations to the board for places for the coming year.


• The young horse section replaces the assessment days in 2009 and will take place in the summer months.


• At the end of 2010, riders will be asked to submit a review of the year in order to apply for a place for 2011.

Criteria for riders to train with Dressage Ireland National Trainer Conrad Schumacher in 2010

• Riders who have up to date membership and horses registered with Dressage Ireland.


• Eligibility to ride for Ireland.


• Senior riders competing PSG and above at International level with scores of 63% and above in 2009.


• Development riders with results from the 2009 national dressage championships with minimum results of 63% at Advanced medium level and above.


• Young riders and juniors currently training for international competitions with scores of 63% and above at Medium level and above.


• Young horses 4/5/6 year olds competing Preliminary/Novice or above with scores of 65% and above.
