Monday – Trailblazers

Trailblazers will ride the same test twice in front of two different judges. The scores for the two tests will be combined and prizes awarded based on the overall scores.

 

Monday – Freestyle

Our freestyle will run from Preliminary to Grand Prix. Entries are restricted to the first 45 entries. Upon reaching 45 entries, the entries will close. Music must be submitted in advance, instructions on the file format and how to submit will be made available to competitors closer to the time.

 

Freestyle will be run under BD freestyle rules. The sheets for this showing time limit and required and prohibited movements can be sourced from BD directly or from apps such as dressage test pro / dressagediagrams 

 

Traditional Irish Horse Award:

This prize, sponsored by Sean Leonard O’Hare of Dunbyrne Stud Livery in Kildare will be presented to the rider achieving the highest score on board a Traditional Irish Horse across Saturday and Sunday. Eligibility for this award will be determined by the committee using the HSI Capall Oir database once entries have closed.

 

Stabling:

7 stables are available at the NSA – to book on a first come first served basis please contact Petra Larkin at 0861720453

Greenogue have stabling available and are located 20 minutes from the NHSA, easily accessible from most motorways. Greenogue also have ample space for lorry parking and have hookup available. Greenogue should be contacted at greenogueequestrian@gmail.com

The nearest hotel if stabling at Greenogue is the Green Isle Hotel or Citywest Hotel.

The nearest hotels to the NHSA itself include the Crowne Plaza, the Carlton and the Castleknock hotel.

Entries for all other classes close the Sunday before the event. No late entries accepted. 

Unregistered Entries:

Entries for unregistered riders will be accepted but these riders will be exempt from championship rosettes and prizes.Normal rosettes for unregistered riders will be awarded seperately.
