Leinster Dressage - Forthcoming Shows

Details of our next Leinster Dressage shows

We look forward to our two days of competition on Saturday the 11th and Sunday the 12th of December at Greenogue Equestrian in Rathcoole.

Saturday the 11th December is a Leinster Dressage show, is part of our Leinster league and is open to all Dressage Ireland members but also to unregistered horses and riders.

Sunday the 12th December is the final leg of the HSI Dressage Ireland Autumn Development League. Entry is restricted to qualified horse and rider combinations.

*Note* specific information for HSI final competitors below

* Upon arrival to the venue and before riding your horse, you must present your horse's passport to the show office.

* As this is a final, whips may NOT be carried. As per the Dressage Ireland rule book a penalty will be incurred for carrying a whip around the outside of the competition arena and elimination if carried inside the competition arena. Whips may only be carried in the warm up.

Detailed information on our forthcoming shows:

Entries must be made online on the Dressage Ireland website. The deadline for entries for both the 11th and 12th December is Sunday the 5th December at 23.45pm.

We will not be accepting late entries. We would ask all competitors not to leave it until the last minute to make entries. While we are happy to help, we cannot do so at 11pm!

To enter, please visit https://www.dressageireland.ie/home, login to your account, click on your name (top right) and then choose "Enter a new class" . Under "By Region" choose Leinster and our shows will appear where you can select a class to enter.

When entering your horse's registration number, this is the Dressage Ireland 4 or 5 digit horse registration number - any horse's registered to you and their registration number can be found in your account (click your name on the top right of the screen to go to your account). Please don't enter your horse's passport number or UELN in place of the horse registration number. Likewise the horse's name must be the exact name on the passport not their stable or pet name.

Saturday 11th December -

Stalls and stands

Our team member Rebecca has been busy organising a mini Christmas shopping village perfect to browse through between classes or while waiting on results. We love to support Irish and local businesses and this allows these companies and individuals to showcase their products and talent - why not pick up a few Christmas gifts for friends and family?

Are you a local Irish business that would like to take part? Please pop us an email - leinsterdressage@gmail.com

We will be in need of volunteers for scribing and sheet collecting over the weekend. We would be most grateful if those interested could please contact us by email to leinsterdressage@gmail.com before Thursday the 3rd December. Scribing is a brilliant way to learn more about dressage from the judges aspect and sheet collecting is great for getting in some extra steps.

If you have any queries or questions please contact leinsterdressage@gmail.com. The Leinster Dressage committee are all volunteers so please allow us time to review your query and get back to you, please don't contact committee members directly and please get your entries in as early as you can.

Thank you and looking forward to seeing you all on the 11th and 12th December
