Qualifying for the Final

To qualify for a class in the final, a combination must complete a minimum of two qualifying tests, one of which must achieve a qualifying placing. Qualification is specific to each class and is not transferable between classes (e.g. to qualify for the Prelim Final a combination must have attend two qualifiers and completed the test in the Prelim Qualifying Class at both and on one of those occasions have been awarded a qualifying placing).  A qualifying placing is given to the top 4 placings in each class.  If those in the top 4 have already received a qualifying placing at a previous qualifier, the qualifying placing will be given to the next position and continue down the placings until all four places are given.  A league table wil be available here soon.

Final & Prizes

Only qualified combinations can compete at the final.  No whips.  Commanders are permitted.  Cash prizes will be given for each class and a substantial cash prize will be given to the highest placed Irish bred horse in each class.  A substantial cash prize will also be given to the breeders of the winning 4, 5 and 6 year olds age classes from the series.  Equine passports must be submitted to the secretary's office prior to competing and must be collected afterwards.
