Dressage Ireland are holding a clinic with International Dressage Coach Richard White on November 24th and 25th.

Dressage Ireland are holding a clinic with International Dressage Coach Richard White on November 24th and 25th in response to a number of requests from higher level riders working towards an International pathway who are not on a High performance programme.

Kyra Kyrklund six times Dressage Olympian, six times FEI Dressage World Cup Finalist and winner of a Dressage World Cup, attributes Richard as the most influential person of her career, describing  him as an exceptional coach. Together they have coached and continue to coach some of the best combinations in the world. Dressage Ireland are delighted to engage Richard’s expertise for this Clinic.

Dressage Ireland would like to seek expressions of interest from riders who have two scores of 63% at PSG and above in 2021 . We also invite expressions of interest from riders at Advanced level with two scores of 63% and above who would like to be considered for this and future clinics.

Venue to be confirmed.

An 'A' list of riders will be compiled of those combinations who have achieved two scores of 63% in 2021 at GP in a descending order to PSG and a 'B' list of those with scores as above at Advanced level. 

Lessons will be filled from the 'A' list first and then in descending order from the top ranked 'B' list riders depending on their availability . 

Every reasonable effort will be made to fill slots according to the above criteria . 

Only for rider horse combinations who intend to compete Internationally for Ireland and those who are not already in a High performance or developing high performance programme. 

Initial clinics will be self financing .

Including the following:

  • Name of rider and horse , including current DI membership and horse registration number;
  • Contact phone number;
  • Level currently competing at;
  • Date’s and venues of shows where scores of 63% and above from GP to Advanced level  were obtained;
  • Age of the horse;
  • Intention and eligibility to compete for Ireland Internationally.
