Richard White Clinic 7th & 8th May 2022

Dressage Ireland are once again hosting a clinic with International Dressage Coach Richard White on 7th & 8th May 2022. These clinics will take place regularly throughout 2022 and will provide the foundation of a pathway towards International competition for Irish dressage athletes. The main focus of this pathway is to increase Irish participation at International level.

Kyra Kyrklund six time dressage Olympian, six times FEI Dressage World cup finalist and winner of a Dressage World Cup, attributes Richard as the most influential person in her career, describing him as an exceptional coach. Together they have, and continue to coach some of the best combinations in the world. Dressage Ireland are delighted to engage Richard’s expertise for these clinics.

Dressage Ireland would like to seek expressions of interest from combinations who have achieved two scores of 63% at PSG level and above in 2021/2022. We would also invite expressions of interest from combinations who have achieved two scores of 63% at Advanced medium level in 2021/2022 to be considered for this and future clinics. Those who have previously applied need not reapply and will be contacted in due course.

An 'A' list of riders will be compiled of those combinations who have achieved two scores of 63% in 2021 at GP in a descending order to PSG and a 'B' list of those with scores as above at Advanced level.

Lessons will be filled from the 'A' list first and then in descending order from the top ranked 'B' list riders depending on their availability .

Every reasonable effort will be made to fill slots according to the above criteria .

Only for rider horse combinations who intend to compete Internationally for Ireland and those who are not already in a High performance or developing high performance programme.
